Job Description:

We now have 2 openings for Class A Automotive Technicians. Our Independent Family Owned location of more than 20 years, is part of the Largest Worldwide Transmission and Complete Car Care facilities. Founded in 1963 AAMCO has built a network of highly skilled automotive repair facilities across the US and Canada. We put Customer Satisfaction First with Factory Level Diagnostic and Repair Equipment.

Requirements:

  • Have a positive and energetic attitude
  • Own Professional Grade tools to perform service and repairs as needed
  • Posses a valid Texas drivers license and be insurable on company insurance
  • Be Capable of lifting or moving 50lbs or more on a regular basis
  • Perform work with hand and power tools overhead
  • Work in tight spaces as required per vehicle manufacturers
  • Stand for the majority of the work day
  • Drive manual transmissions
  • Perform work at or above the manufacturer labor times
  • Be proficient at navigation computer apps to determine parts and labor information

  • 3+ years’ experience as an automotive technician in a professional setting
  • A clean, valid California driver’s license
  • Vocational or technical school training is preferred
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical problems with or without general supervision
  • Excellent judgement and discretion
  • ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and ability to handle work-related stress are required
