Job Description

Immediately hiring! We’re looking for responsible, detailed people who are ready to accelerate their automotive repair career! Whether you have worked in an auto garage or car dealership, this job is for you! Become a member of our family-friendly Avis Budget Group enterprise.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform basic repairs on a wide variety of vehicle makes and models with minimal technical supervision
  • Perform some preventative maintenance (oil, lube and tire repairs)
  • Depending on technical expertise, perform warranty repairs
  • Assist experienced mechanics in complex repairs
  • Requirement: Windshield Installation, repair and calibration

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
  • Minimum 1-year auto repair experience preferred
  • Willingness to work in a mechanical shop with moderate or loud noise level
  • Must possess all tools required for auto repair and maintenance
  • Basic computer skills (typing, data entry)
  • Flexibility to work all shifts

  • Maintain accurate records of services performed, including parts used, labor hours, and vehicle conditions, ensuring compliance with Meineke's documentation standards
  • Collaborate with senior technicians and service advisors to effectively communicate vehicle issues, repair recommendations, and estimated costs to customers
  • Uphold Meineke's commitment to customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing customer concerns professionally
  • Continuously update your knowledge and skills through training sessions, workshops, and Meineke's resources to stay up-to-date with automotive industry trends and advancements
