Job Description:

AAMCO Transmissions the world’s leader in transmissions and complex automotive repairs is seeking tenured, highly qualified Automotive Technicians to join our AAMCO Corporate Team at our new Corporate Store located in Lafayette, Indiana which will also facilitate as a Training Center. We are seeking the best of the best in the automotive industry. Our new automotive team members in this location will be offered a competitive hourly wage and commission. The work assigned will be heavy line. We are actively seeking experienced technicians in the areas of Transmission R&R, Automotive Repair and Diagnostics. As an AAMCO Transmission employee we invest heavily in the growth of knowledge of our employees including ongoing training, investment in advanced equipment for servicing vehicles and much more.

Job Responsibility:

Remove and reinstall major component systems including all components of the drive line
Bumper to bumper and heavy line experience
Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems

Requirements:

Hold a valid driver’s license
Own professional grade tools to service any repairs required
Must be hard-working, dedicated, professional, own and immediately make every effort to resolve customer concerns
Must exhibit a can-do attitude working as an AAMCO Team Member, be punctual, and bringing a positive attitude to work every day
Exhibit Safe working practices, habits and knowledge using shop tools and equipment
Minimum of 3+ Years working as a Technician/Mechanic for a quality automotive company/dealership

Nice to have:

ASE Certified Technician Preferred
