Job Description:

Automotive Technician/ Mechanic for AAMCO Transmissions and Total Car Care, one of the most trusted and recognized automotive brands in the country for over 60 years. The leader in complex automotive repair with over 500 stores nationwide. The company invests heavily in the growth of our technicians including ongoing training, investment in advanced equipment for servicing vehicles and much more.

Requirements:

  • Strong diagnostic abilities on mechanical and electrical systems for various makes and models
  • Experience with removal and reinstallation of major component systems including all components of the drive line
  • Ability to perform vehicle inspections
  • 5+ years' experience as a Major R&R Technician on Transmissions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Collaborative, team player
  • Ownership of professional grade tools
  • Hold a valid driver’s license (required)

Nice to have:

ASE Certifications (preferred)

  • 3+ years’ experience as an automotive technician in a professional setting
  • A clean, valid California driver’s license
  • Vocational or technical school training is preferred
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical problems with or without general supervision
