Automotive Technician

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including, but not limited to, brakes and hydraulic, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, HVAC, and computer systems
• Adequately explain diagnosis discovered during inspection to non-mechanical individuals
• Record inspection findings so that costs are accurately estimated
• Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
• Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools, and repair techniques through paid formal training
• Maintains a clean and organized repair facility
• Performs other duties as assigned

• 3+ years’ experience as an automotive technician in a professional setting
• A clean, valid California driver’s license
• Vocational or technical school training is preferred
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical problems with or without general supervision
• Excellent judgement and discretion
• ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and ability to handle work-related stress are required
• Team player with a “can do” attitude that can work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to establish and maintain professional atmosphere for employees and customers
