Requirements

A minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Engineering
Level 3 EV Trained (Or desire to work towards)
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a vehicle technician, mechanic or in a workshop controller role

Job Responsibility

Provide remote assistance to patrols, retailers and customers to guide real-time repairs and resolve vehicle issues efficiently
Support our internal roadside teams with live diagnostics, helping to increase first-time fix rates and reduce the need for vehicle recovery
Manage technical complaints by working with customers, case managers, manufacturers and the dealer network to reach fair and timely resolutions
Monitoring and sharing technical insights to keep RAC and Motability Operations aligned with evolving technologies
Ensuring warranty processes are applied fairly and consistently across the retailer network
