Meineke Car Care Center of Lubbock is seeking an experienced auto technician to join our team. As a technician on our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the vehicles that come through our shop. You will use state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, perform scheduled maintenance services, and ensure that all work meets our shop’s high standards, which will help us stand confidently behind our warranty. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, a commitment to excellence, and a customer-first attitude. Responsibilities will be: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems in a wide range of vehicles. Perform thorough inspections to help our service advisor team explain the work that needs to be done on the car to help maximize profits Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess vehicle conditions Communicate effectively with service advisors to provide accurate estimates and timelines Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to all safety standards Ensure all repairs are completed to the highest standard and on schedule Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques Contribute to a positive team environment and shop culture by collaborating with colleagues
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
ASE Certification or equivalent (preferred)
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an auto technician
Proficiency with digital tools, diagnostic software, and general computer skills
Knowledge of and experience with shop management software
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with service advisors and customers
