To strengthen our system engineering activities, we are looking for an Automotive Engineer to contribute to the definition of high-level functional specifications for complex vehicle systems. The role focuses on translating user needs, system concepts, and technological capabilities into clear functional descriptions, supporting the development of connected and software-driven vehicle solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Contribute to the definition of high-level functional specifications for vehicle systems and features
  • Translate user needs, use cases, and system concepts into structured functional descriptions
  • Support the decomposition of vehicle functions into system and sub-system requirements
  • Collaborate with software, electronics, and HMI teams to ensure functional coherence across domains
  • Contribute to documentation related to system architecture, functional behavior, and feature definitions
  • Support alignment between functional specifications, development activities, and validation plans

Requirements

  • Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical fields
  • Experience or strong interest in vehicle systems engineering and functional specification
  • Ability to work at a high level of abstraction, maintaining a system-oriented perspective
  • Familiarity with software-driven vehicle functions and connected systems
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken

  • Experience with connected vehicle features or digital services
