Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and conscientious individual to join our team. The primary responsibilities will involve the safe dismantling of engine parts and the subsequent sorting, labeling, and warehousing of automotive parts.

Job Responsibility:

  • Expertly use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to remove specific components (engines, transmissions, body panels, etc.) without damage
  • Ensure all hazardous materials are correctly handled, stored, and prepared for disposal
  • Inspect, clean, and test removed parts for quality and functionality
  • Accurately tag, photograph, and label parts with inventory information (Year, Make, Model, VIN, Part Condition)
  • Organize and place parts into designated warehouse locations using our inventory management system (training provided)
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area within the dismantling and sorting bays

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Auto Dismantler, Automotive Technician, or related mechanical role
  • Strong familiarity with vehicle components and their removal procedures across various makes and models
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to fluid handling, heavy equipment, and general shop operations
  • Ability to stand, lift (up to 25kg), bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills for inventory logging and data entry
  • Forklift licence or willing to obtain
