Automation Testing Intermediate Analyst

• Conducts initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production
• Designs and implements appropriate scripts/plans for an application testing strategy/approach
• Conducts a variety of tests and analyses to ensure systems meet or exceed specified standards
• Works closely with key stakeholders to understand business and functional requirements
• Develops test plans, test cases and scripts
• Executes test scripts according to application requirements documentation
• Identifies defects and recommends appropriate course of action
• Performs root cause analyses
• Coordinates multiple testers and testing activities within a project
• Retests after corrections are made
• Documents, evaluates and researches test results
• Identifies, recommends and implements process improvements
• Interfaces with development teams for requirements clarification or test results
• Participate in test strategy meetings
• Provides informal guidance to new team members

• 5 to 9 years Quality Assurance (QA) experience on manual and automation testing
• Experience in banking and financial domain for enterprise applications
• Hands-on experience with SQL scripting with intermediate to advanced capabilities
• Understanding of automation frameworks and hands-on experience with utilizing automation
• Experience with Selenium, Cucumber with knowledge on Java or Python
• Hands on experience on functional Test Automation & hybrid, keyword-driven, data-driven, Behavior Driven automation frameworks
• Hands on experience level of programming and SQL skills e.g. Java/.NET, python, development in Linux environment (shell scripting)
• Experience in writing range of test artefacts
• test plan, test cases, test reports
• Experienced in working as part of a virtual global team
• Good understanding of project management principles and familiarity in different development & testing methodologies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in use of industry standard toolsets such as Jira/Zephyr
• Requires methodical approach to testing and problem solving
• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience

Knowledge on Java or Python is beneficial
