Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in test automation for web and/or mobile applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts, ensuring high product quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. He should understand Gen AI tools and has understanding of using it in automation testing/

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks
  • Analyze test results, debug issues, and report defects
  • Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements
  • Participate in test planning, test case design, and execution (manual + automation)
  • Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing
  • Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure pipeline)
  • Ensure test coverage for critical business functionalities
  • Maintain proper documentation of test cases and automation scripts

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in test automation tools (Selenium WebDriver, Appium, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
  • Experience with test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber BDD, etc.)
  • Understanding of API testing (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Strong understanding of software testing concepts
  • Experience in writing efficient locators (XPath, CSS selectors)
  • Good debugging and analytical skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Katalon Studio (added advantage)
  • Experience with mobile automation (Android/iOS)
  • Exposure to tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Maestro
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
  • Basic understanding of database queries (SQL)
