Job Description:

Automation Test Engineer

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for Web, Mobile, and API platforms
  • Own test coverage for assigned features and work closely with developers to ensure early bug detection
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to test optimization
  • Perform regression, performance, and exploratory testing to ensure end-to-end quality
  • Analyze test failures and report bugs with clear documentation and logs
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, actively contributing to sprint goals

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in QA Automation or SDET roles
  • Proficiency with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright for UI automation
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or REST-Assured
  • Solid scripting skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Exposure to Jenkins, GitLab CI, or other CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum processes and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities
