Automation Test Engineer

• Identify End-to-End testing scope
• Collaborate with Development, testing team and Support teams to clarify specs, raise issues/concerns and identify risks
• Develop, Maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
• Design and implement Automated API tests to validate backend services
• Create and manage automation frameworks using Cucumber to support BDD practice
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test automation strategies
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Maven, Git and Bitbucket
• Execute manual testing when required
• Utilize JIRA and Zephyr for test planning, execution, and defect tracking
• Troubleshoot automation issues and provide timely resolutions
• Create reports showing testing progress and blockers
• Mentor junior team members and conduct knowledge sharing sessions

• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in Functional and Automation Testing practice
• Experience in Automation tools like Cucumber, Selenium, Postman, Rest Assured, Cypress
• Experience in BDD framework development
• Exposure to Core Java coding
• Exposure to Jenkins setup, DevOps activities
• Hands-on experience in QA automation with focus on Selenium WebDriver and API testing
• Proven experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks using Cucumber
• Strong programming skills in Java or another object-oriented language
• Hands-on experience with Maven, Git, Bitbucket for version control and CI/CD
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities effectively
