Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Technician to join the Service team in Kalgoorlie. As an Automation Technician our ideal candidate will have background in working on industrial control systems, a keen interest for continuous learning and ability to produce safe, reliable and maintainable PLC and SCADA systems to meet client's requirements within a wide variety of sectors. This is a permanent full-time role for an licensed electrician. You will be experienced in troubleshooting using online PLC and SCADA tools across some of the major platforms including Rockwell, Siemens and Schneider.

Job Responsibility:

Provide field service and breakdown support for a range of customers over varying industries
Preventative, corrective and recommended maintenance and documentation
Electrical installation works
Provide assistance with commissioning of projects
On the job reporting and invoicing

Requirements:

A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment
Must have industrial electrical experience
PLC programming (ideally in Rockwell, Siemens and Schneider) and HMI/SCADA Programming (ideally in Citect, FactoryTalk or WinCC)
Electrical installation and commissioning experience
Commitment to customer satisfaction
Ability and desire to participate in a rotating after hours on-call roster
Australian drivers licence and Unrestricted Electrical Licence. (Essential)
Must have the right to work in Australia. (Essential)
