Job Description:

CVS Health, a Fortune 4 company, has an opportunity to welcome a new member to the Pharmacy Maintenance Team in Wilkes-Barre, PA. As an Automation Maintenance Technician for our 3rd shift, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the pharmacy’s automated systems. You will focus on routine inspections of our specialized machines, identifying and resolving technical issues to meet production goals and quality expectations.

Job Responsibility:

Troubleshooting and maintenance for automation robotics, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems in a sophisticated automated large volume pharmaceutical dispensing facility
Conduct routine inspections of machines and systems to ensure optimal performance, such as troubleshooting electro-mechanical control systems and supporting the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based control systems
Performing preventative maintenance on equipment, notifying the Manager of any concerns regarding major repairs needed or any additional equipment needed to support the pharmacy automation equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work area for all employees
Participate in training programs to stay updated on new technologies and procedures

Requirements:

1+ years of risk assessment skills including ability to understand a process and determine how a change can affect that process
1+ years of project management skills with ability to multi-task & prioritize
1+ years of performing Preventive Maintenance (PM) to automated manufacturing equipment and utilizing LOTO procedures
1+ years of troubleshooting, repairing & maintaining automated equipment controlled by Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

Nice to have:

Experience in medical, fulfillment center, warehouse or healthcare environments
Experience working in a regulated environment (ISO 9000, ISO 13485, FDA, Pharmaceutical or Medical Device)
A craft certification or other related certification/training
