Job Description:

As a Mid level Test Automation Specialist, you will leverage a cutting-edge test automation framework to enhance and expedite testing processes, govern and evolve test frameworks, develop a test reporting system, and develop a comprehensive monitoring and alerting system. Your expertise will ensure the robustness, efficiency, and reliability of the software delivery pipeline.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases based on requirements, specifications, and user stories
  • Ensure coverage of positive/negative scenarios, edge cases, and system interactions
  • Maintain traceability between test cases and product features
  • Organize and maintain automated test suites to reflect product changes
  • Refactor outdated or redundant tests, ensuring accuracy and relevance
  • Maintain a clear structure for both manual and automated test suites
  • Implement and utilize AI and intelligent agents to accelerate test generation
  • Transition from manual test development to AI-driven automation solutions
  • Oversee maintenance and continuous improvement of existing frameworks
  • Analyze failures/escapes, identify root causes, and implement solutions
  • Drive a culture of quality through ongoing improvements in methodologies
  • Design and develop reports to provide visibility into test suite performance
  • Implement alerting systems for prompt failure notifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3–5 years of software testing experience
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Playwright (Puppeteer acceptable alternative)
  • Strong experience in automation testing and frameworks
  • Experience with UI and REST API testing
  • Familiarity with AI tools in testing/software development
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Golang, or similar
  • Experience with test management & defect tracking systems
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have:

  • Hands-on experience with PyTest, Ginkgo, or similar frameworks
  • Experience with AI Agents and tools for automation test generation
  • Knowledge of test framework design and development
  • Strong understanding of test reporting tools & technologies
