Job Responsibility

  • Develop and prepare testing documentation, including test strategies, plans, conditions, and cases, adhering to the Client System Delivery Methodology (SDM)
  • Execute testing across various System Readiness test phases: Systems Test, Systems Integration Test, Stress, Volume and Performance testing (SVP), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Manage defect resolution and release processes, including raising and monitoring defects
  • Generate comprehensive testing reports and statistics as required
  • Participate in formal reviews of key project artifacts (e.g., business and functional requirements) and conduct peer reviews of testing documentation
  • Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships within the agency, and, when necessary, lead or manage work teams

Requirements

  • A tertiary qualification in IT, engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in IT testing, encompassing the use of testing management products and test automation
  • Proven ability to thrive in an Agile (Scrum) project environment
  • Desirable knowledge of, or the capacity to quickly acquire knowledge of, Client systems and underlying technologies (e.g., Java, Siebel / Oracle Fusion, ESB, PeopleSoft, Datawarehouse/Datalake)
  • Desirable knowledge of, or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, Microsoft SharePoint and MS Dynamics CRM application testing
  • End-to-end functional test automation experience
  • Solid commercial IT experience with at least 2-5 years in application software testing, particularly involving complex animated controls for MS dynamics and HTML5 constructs, utilizing the following tools: Selenium engine with C#, MS Team Foundation Server/DevOps, Microsoft Visual Studio, JMeter, ReadyAPI
  • Proficiency with MS DevOps test management
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand and effectively present complex information to diverse audiences
  • Superior analytical abilities to simplify complex issues and propose effective solutions
  • Demonstrated success collaborating within project teams in fast-paced program environments
  • Ability to work independently and deliver the outcome on time within budget

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is desirable
