Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Leader to strengthen quality engineering practices across multiple teams on a project that involves the development and integration of advanced business-workflow orchestration solution within a secure inspection platform. The goal is to enable seamless data ingestion, processing, storage, and retrieval for complex inspection processes, ensuring high availability, scalability, strict access control, and audit. The domain covers security screening, data management, and operational analytics for large‑scale on-premises environments. In this role, you will shape and execute end-to-end QA strategy, build automation and performance testing frameworks, and ensure high-quality delivery aligned with business goals. You will combine hands-on technical leadership with coordination of QA activities across 2 or more delivery teams. Also, this role includes mentoring Engineers and continuously improving QA processes and standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define and lead an effective QA strategy based on project goals, risks, and customer expectations
  • Own QA direction for 2 teams and maintain consistent quality standards and practices
  • Align QA activities with strategic business goals and customer priorities
  • Continuously improve QA processes, metrics, and standards
  • Design and implement scalable automation testing frameworks for back-end and/or UI layers
  • Lead development and maintenance of automated test suites (API, UI, integration)
  • Develop automation strategy, coverage targets, and CI/CD integration
  • Contribute to automation tests development when needed
  • Maintain test reliability, clarity, and execution efficiency
  • Develop and execute performance testing strategy
  • Design, implement, and run performance/load/stress tests
  • Analyze performance results and propose improvements
  • Cover key non-functional requirements, including performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Lead and coordinate QA teams (manual and automation)
  • Plan tasks, estimate workload, and assign work across the teams
  • Maintain balanced team workload and timely delivery
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams and stakeholders to align QA efforts with product strategy
  • Translate customer requirements into clear QA priorities
  • Contribute quality input during planning, refinement, and release stages
  • Establish and track QA KPIs and quality metrics
  • Provide regular updates on quality status and potential risks

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in QA with strong focus on test automation
  • 2+ years in a QA Leader / Senior AQA role
  • Proven experience leading QA for multiple teams or complex products
  • Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Java preferred)
  • Experience with API testing and back-end validation
  • Solid understanding of performance testing methodologies and tools
  • Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, test design techniques, and risk-based testing
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • English level – Upper-Intermediate or higher
