Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Automation Project Lead to support a pharma project in Boxmeer, Netherlands. This role combines hands-on automation scope definition with delivery and stakeholder management in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead automation workstreams, combining solution design, scope definition, and delivery management
  • Coordinate automation activities across internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders
  • Drive delivery of manufacturing automation and IT systems in line with project objectives
  • Support and oversee process automation and data acquisition systems (ISA-95 Level 2/3)
  • Ensure compliance with applicable GxP, GAMP, and SDLC requirements and documentation standards
  • Facilitate workshops, resolve issues, and actively remove delivery blockers
  • Support hybrid working model, including onsite presence and vendor coordination

Requirements:

  • Experience in manufacturing automation and/or IT systems delivery roles
  • Strong background in process automation and data acquisition systems (PCS, PLC/SCADA, Data Historians)
  • Experience with ISA-95 Level 2/3 architectures
  • exposure to Siemens, Zenon, or Aveva/OSIsoft PI is preferred
  • Knowledge of Siemens PCS7 control systems is desirable
  • Understanding of Automation/IT networks and ESX hardware virtualization platforms
  • Experience working in regulated industries (GxP, GAMP, SDLC) or willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to coordinate vendors and cross-functional stakeholders
