Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and maintain ABB automation and control systems (800xA). Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC logic for industrial processes. Configure and maintain SCADA systems for monitoring and control of plant operations. Integrate field devices, sensors, actuators, and industrial communication networks. Perform system commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of automation equipment. Support and maintain Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure in industrial environments. Monitor system performance and implement improvements to increase reliability and efficiency. Diagnose and resolve control system faults and operational issues. Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams for system integration and upgrades. Ensure compliance with industrial cybersecurity, safety standards, and operational procedures. Maintain documentation for automation architecture, control logic, and system configurations.
