Job Description:

ROLE :SDET/QA engineer. The position requires deep technical skills, the ability to grasp business concepts quickly and experience working in an agile environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for UI testing (using Selenium) and API Testing (using Postman/Newman)
  • Write reusable, maintainable and efficient test scripts in programming languages like Python or JavaScripts
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios
  • Develop, execute and maintain functional, integration, regression and performance test cases
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, or Azure DevOps
  • Technical, creative, and efficient extraction of related data and analysis techniques to ensure quality for prescribed business uses
  • Manual and automated test case creation / execution for testing projects related to healthcare
  • Oversees and performs all aspects of application testing activities for Web / Mobile iOS / Android functional and automated testing of both native, hybrid and web applications
  • Recognized as a subject matter expert (SME) in testing & mobile
  • Coaches associate test analysts and test analysts
  • Analyzes functional requirements for initiatives
  • Leads and or validates the development and accuracy of test cases, test data, traceability matrix, and metrics
  • Communicates / presents results to IT and key stakeholders
  • Modifies test cases, assists the development team in recreation of defects, validates defect fixes
  • Diagnoses results and analyzes large output datasets for accuracy and integrity across multiple systems
  • Helps to ensure project testing activities are completed on–time and without delivery of critical defects to the field
  • Ability to work with development to build and execute automated tests
  • Participates in development planning meetings
  • Participate in discussions with stakeholders pertaining to project estimates, schedules and critical issues
  • Continually incorporates process efficiencies without sacrificing quality
  • Ability to build both manual and automated regression suites and track cost savings for automation
  • Helps define and implement operational and process improvements for testing activities
  • Builds and maintains an automation framework for use of DB, API, UI, mobile and performance testing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Technology in any specialization
  • 2-5 years comparable work experience
  • Experience with Selenium, Postman/Newman
  • Experience using JMeter
  • Experience writing basic automated scripts using any tool / language
  • Use and teach other SDETs about various QA tools and toolsets, such as MS Unit, TestNG, Selenium WebDriver, NUnit, Selenium Grid, Jenkins, Docker, Git, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps etc
  • Ability to make timely, informed decisions
  • Ability to deliver information in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
  • Ability to develop and strengthen collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Nice to have:

  • Experience testing EMR Systems (Meditech, Cerner, Epic, Expanse, etc.)
  • Preferrable ISTQB or equivalent certification
  • Familiarity with BDD tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow
