Automation Engineer

Develop, update, and implement process documents for various equipment and processes Develop applications for manufacturing processes to make plant operations more efficient. Responsible for daily troubleshooting and resolving automation-related issues and repair of automation equipment to minimize downtime and ensure consistent production. Work with design engineering, advanced manufacturing, and quality engineers to develop and implement robust automation solutions. Collaborate with other engineers to improve horizontal project expansion. Conduct regular system upgrades and updates to ensure compatibility with evolving production needs and industry standards. Implement preventive maintenance routines for automation equipment, enhancing reliability and reducing unexpected breakdowns. Responsible for new equipment installation project management and 3rd party vendor management. Provide updates and status reports. Maintain documentation of system configurations, schematics, and troubleshooting procedures. Will work in various unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S.
