Job Description:

As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automation solutions to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of engineering processes. Your role will be crucial in reducing manual, time-consuming tasks, enhancing productivity, and minimizing errors in engineering workflows. By integrating automation solutions with the Common Data Backbone, you will help streamline configuration, data management, and process flows, allowing for optimized resource utilization and seamless collaboration across teams.

Job Responsibility:

Develop automation solutions – Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks to optimize engineering processes and minimize manual interventions
Reduce manual effort & errors – Automate repetitive and error-prone tasks to improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency
Optimize process flows – Enhance engineering workflows, reduce processing times, and improve the quality of engineering deliverables
Integrate with common Data Backbone – Ensure seamless integration of automation solutions with the Common Data Backbone for data consistency and accessibility
Create automation scripts & tools – Develop scripts and tools for automated configuration of hardware, software, and engineering assets
Maintain & improve features – Continuously refine and enhance automation capabilities to align with evolving engineering requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Hands-on experience with automation techniques, frameworks, and process optimization
Strong knowledge of Python, Bash, and tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, and Docker
Ability to analyze, optimize, and automate engineering workflows for increased efficiency
Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work under pressure
Fluent in English (German is a plus)
