Job Description

The Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and improving automation solutions and internal web applications that help optimize engineering and operational workflows. The role combines frontend development, backend automation, and cloud technologies to create scalable and maintainable solutions that reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain internal automation tools and web applications
  • Build and enhance React-based frontend applications used by engineering and operations teams
  • Collaborate with backend developers and integrations
  • Work with cloud-based environments and services across Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud platforms
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
  • Maintain source control and collaborative workflows using Git
  • Support testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of automation solutions
  • Document technical solutions, workflows, and development processes
  • Collaborate effectively within an agile engineering team

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript and modern frontend development principles
  • Hands-on experience with React and building web-based applications
  • Good knowledge of Python for automation, and backend integrations is an advantage
  • Understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
  • Experience working with Git-based development workflows
  • Experience with Docker and containerized application environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years of experience in software engineering, automation, or related technical roles
  • Experience with Kubernetes is considered an advantage

Nice to have

  • Good knowledge of Python for automation, and backend integrations is an advantage
