Job Description:

Lead of the Immuno Global Operations (IGO) Center of Excellence (CoE) dedicated to Automation & Robotization. Exploration, evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies in automation and robotization, supporting Diasorin’s Immuno Operations. This role combines strategic thinking, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, product quality, and sustainability.

Job Responsibility:

  • Technology Scouting & Evaluation: Research market trends and emerging technologies in automation and robotization
  • Process Optimization: Design and implement strategies to integrate new technologies
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Prototyping & Project Leadership: Lead pilot projects and design experiments to test new technologies
  • Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Support Top Management investment decisions and contribute to the long-term strategic plan
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain technical records, train staff and lead a global community of automation experts
  • Performance & Compliance Monitoring: Define and maintain KPIs/KAIs and ensure compliance with GxP
  • Industrialization: Assess the impact of new technologies on industrialization processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Automation or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years in Industrial Engineering or Automation design fields
  • Blend engineering expertise, creative problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing Processes/Equipment/Automation
  • Experience with digitalization I4.0 and I5.0 framework
  • Basic Lean methods and tools
  • Proven track record in managing automation projects from conception to completion
  • Financial acumen
  • Understanding of GxP regulations and compliance requirements
  • Effective Communication skills
  • Proactive approach
  • Ability to think creatively and drive innovative solution
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • Fluency in English
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% for business trips and longer missions
