Job Description:

🚧 Automatic Gate Technician 🚧 🔧 Build. Wire. Install. Take Pride in Your Work. 🔧 Are you an experienced technician with a strong electrical and mechanical background? We’re looking for a skilled Automatic Gate Technician to install and service high-quality gate systems using industry-leading equipment such as LiftMaster, Linear, Auto Gate, and Tilt Away. If you enjoy hands-on work and seeing projects come together, this role is for you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Install, service, and maintain automatic gate systems, overhead doors, and related equipment
  • Perform electrical wiring for primary power, low-voltage systems, and safety contacts
  • Complete hands-on mechanical work related to installations
  • Operate mini skid steers and assist with minor civil work as required
  • Manage materials, tools, and equipment on job sites
  • Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards
  • Provide professional and reliable customer service
  • Travel out of town as required
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with automatic gates, overhead doors, elevators, or similar systems
  • Strong electrical knowledge (C.E.T. certification or overhead door experience is an asset)
  • Mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and expand skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing

Nice to have:

  • Welding experience
  • C.E.T. certification
  • Overhead door experience
