Job Description

Robert Half is partnering with a local architectural firm to identify an experienced AutoCAD Specialist for an immediate, short‑term contract. This role is fully onsite in Spokane, WA and will support the team with architectural drafting, updating drawings, and making revisions based on redlines. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in AutoCAD, comfortable working quickly and accurately, and experienced with design adjustments and final delivery corrections.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the landscape architecture team with drafting and plan updates
  • Work primarily in AutoCAD (90–95% of the time) to execute assigned tasks
  • Review daily and weekly priorities set by the principal
  • Implement redlines, revisions, and design adjustments already established by the team
  • Update drawings to reflect corrections, edits, and delivery requirements
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across all drawings
  • Check in daily with the principal to align on priorities and any urgent needs
  • Proactively identify follow‑up changes or additional adjustments beyond marked redlines
  • Meet short‑term deadlines during an onboarding and transition period
  • Collaborate closely with a small, in‑office team on an as‑needed basis

Requirements

  • Strong hands‑on experience as an AutoCAD Drafter
  • Comfortable spending 90–95% of time working in AutoCAD
  • Experience executing redlines, revisions, and design corrections accurately
