All trade applicants are required to relocate to the Centre of Queensland, Town of Mount Isa. Shift: 12 hour shifts.
Job Responsibility:
Install, maintain, and repair automotive electrical systems and equipment in accordance with Australian standards
Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting on a variety of electrical systems
Read and interpret electrical plans and specifications
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members
Complete job documentation and reports as required
Requirements:
Trade Qualification is required for applications
White Card (Construction Induction)
Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
Valid driver’s licence
Ability to easily diagnose, repair, rewire and install electrical systems in light and heavy vehicles
Frequent awkward positions required to access under the front dash of vehicles for air-conditioning repairs and fitting systems into new mine vehicles
All Applicants must be willing to undergo a Pre Employment Medical, including drug & alcohol testing
