Based in Auckland, covering the South Auckland areas of Manukau, Penrose, and East Tamaki, this role has a strong focus on Auto Electrical. You might be an automotive trade-based professional looking to get off the tools, your hands-on experience will be valuable in developing our customer base and helping us maintain our position as a market-leading supplier. You will spend most of your time developing new business within these areas and serving as the main contact for trade customers. This role also requires one overnight trip every two weeks.
Job Responsibility:
Provide exceptional service to existing customers, growing relationships
Collaborate with the Branch Manager to build new business locally
Develop and maintain a structured call cycle across the territory
Identify opportunities to improve offerings and add value to customers’ businesses
Work with vendors to increase product knowledge and market share, especially in Auto Electrical
Support the branch’s service offering to exceed customer expectations
Requirements:
Experience in sales and/or account management, preferably with Auto Electrical knowledge
Proven success in meeting KPIs and targets
Strong customer service focus and clear communication skills, including technical discussions
Good time management and high work ethic
Eagerness to learn and stay updated on the latest product information
