Job Description:

Do you have a passion for supporting children with autism and helping them reach their full potential? We are looking for a caring and dedicated Autism Support Worker to join our friendly and supportive team at a thriving school in Bristol. This is a rewarding role where you will work closely with pupils on the autism spectrum, providing tailored support to help them succeed both academically and socially. You will be part of a team that values inclusion, creativity, and making a genuine impact on the lives of young people every single day.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting pupils with autism in the classroom and during school activities
  • Assisting teachers in delivering lessons adapted to individual needs
  • Helping to create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Building strong relationships with pupils to boost confidence and independence

Requirements:

  • A positive, patient, and empathetic approach
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience supporting children with autism is desirable, but not essential training will be provided
  • A genuine passion for helping children overcome challenges and achieve their goals

  • Assist with personal care tasks when required
  • Help with domestic tasks, including cleaning, cooking, and ensuring a comfortable living environment
