Job Description

We are supporting a specialist SEND school in Farnborough that caters for pupils with autism and associated communication needs. The school offers a highly structured and supportive environment, with clear routines and excellent resources in place. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Autism Support Assistant on a long-term basis.

Job Responsibility

  • Support pupils within small classes
  • Use visual timetables and communication strategies
  • Support transitions and daily routines
  • Encourage independence and engagement

Requirements

  • Experience with autism or SEND desirable
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training
