Job Description:

Autism Specialist LSA – Small Group Support (Primary). Do you have a passion for autism support and structured intervention work? We are recruiting Autism Specialist LSAs to work with small groups of children with ASC within mainstream primary schools. If you love autism support and enjoy seeing pupils make real progress — this is for you. Join the team and help make a difference in the lives of the students.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting pupils with communication, sensory needs and routine
  • Delivering small‑group interventions
  • Using visuals, timetables, TEACCH strategies and social stories
  • Helping pupils build independence and confidence
  • Working collaboratively with the SENCO and class teacher

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting autistic children
  • Confident using strategies for communication and emotional regulation
  • Must stay patient, consistent and nurturing
  • Passionate about helping children feel safe, understood and successful
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services
