Job Responsibility:
Developing and Implementing NDT Procedures: Creating, reviewing, and approving NDT procedures and techniques to ensure they meet applicable codes, standards, and specifications
Ensuring Compliance: Verifying that NDT operations adhere to relevant codes, standards, and customer requirements
Supervision and Providing Technical Guidance: Offering expert advice and support to Level I and Level II NDT personnel on technical issues and interpretation of results
Training and Certifying Personnel: Developing and delivering training programs for Level I and Level II personnel and administering certification examinations
Interpreting and Evaluating Results: Analysing and interpreting NDT results in accordance with established criteria and recommending appropriate actions
Auditing NDT Processes: Conducting internal and external audits to assess the effectiveness of NDT procedures and the competency of personnel
Maintaining NDT Equipment: Ensuring the proper calibration and maintenance of NDT equipment
Staying Up-to-Date: Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in NDT technologies and methodologies
Developing Solutions: Identifying and implementing solutions to address inspection challenges and improve NDT processes
Liaising with Stakeholders: Communicating with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders on NDT-related matters
Requirements:
Diploma or Graduate
ASNT /PCN/ISO 9712/CSWIP Level III PAUT/TOFD/AUT
ASNT Level III UT/RT/MT/PT/VT
CSWIP AUT DI Level III
Minimum Experience Required: 3Years post certification- Similar Experience Required
Preference will be given to PDO approved Level III candidates
Extensive NDT Experience: Demonstrated experience in multiple NDT methods, including practical application and interpretation of results
Certification: Typically holds an ASNT NDT Level III certification or equivalent
Strong Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of materials, fabrication, and product technology relevant to the specific industry
Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical information to various audiences
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions
Leadership and Management Skills: Ability to supervise and mentor NDT personnel
