Job Description:

On behalf of our client, we are looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented auditors in Athens and Thessaloniki. Do you have experience in the audit field as in junior or senior level? Job Responsibility:

Conduct thorough examinations of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to verify their accuracy and completeness
Assess and identify potential financial and operational risks, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks effectively
Perform detailed testing and verification procedures on transactions and records to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Utilize advanced data analytics tools to analyze large datasets, identify trends, anomalies, and areas of concern, and translate these insights into meaningful audit conclusions
Prepare well-structured audit documentation, clearly outlining procedures, findings, and recommendations for management's review
Engage in open and constructive communication with management and stakeholders to discuss audit findings, address queries, and provide valuable insights

Requirements:

1-6 years of experience in similar position
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Good knowledge of taxation legislation and reporting systems is desirable
Strong understanding of IFRS is required
Experience in the preparation or audit of financial statements
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel
University degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
1-6 years of experience in an audit firm (Big 4 preferably)
Holder of a professional certification such as ACCA or CIMA (or studying towards it)

Nice to have:

Good knowledge of taxation legislation and reporting systems is desirable
Holder of a professional certification such as ACCA or CIMA (or studying towards it)
