Job Description:

The Auditor is responsible for conducting audit tests and work streams and issuing audit conclusions and recommendations as part of an audit assignment under the supervision of a Senior Auditor or a Lead Auditor. Through interviews with auditees, reviews of documentation and data analyses, he/she is in charge of assessing the risks of activities/departments/themes reviewed and the effectiveness of the internal control setup. Over the course of the various audit assignments, he/she develops Audit techniques to gain in autonomy and efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct audit tests and work streams and issue audit conclusions and recommendations as part of an audit assignment under supervision
  • Assess the risks of activities/departments/themes reviewed and the effectiveness of the internal control setup
  • Develop Audit techniques to gain in autonomy and efficiency
  • Independently carry audit planning and fieldwork as assigned
  • Document clearly and precisely in the test sheets the controls performed and the conclusions reached
  • Identify and report on strengths and weaknesses of the audited areas, analyse root causes and consequences, formalise possible remediation and recommendations
  • Present audit conclusions to IGE management and to the management of the audited unit
  • Keep the Head of Mission informed of progress and escalate issues
  • Conduct recommendations follow-ups to monitor corrective actions
  • Ensure proper archiving of supporting documentation, audit evidence and deliverables
  • Perform the securities audit and controls required by the regulator
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of IGE methodologies and processes
  • Prepare or update audit guides or scorecards
  • Monitor the implementation of recommendations issued

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of audit experience preferably in a Financial institution
  • License qualification : Senior Securities Specialist
  • Proficient in directly liaising with competent authority
  • Team work spirit and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Mandarin, English - fluent
