Now Hiring: Audit Senior / Accountant (3–5 Years Experience). Are you looking to escape the 'big firm' grind without sacrificing the quality of your professional work? We are a fast-growing, two-partner CPA firm in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, and we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Auditor/Accountant to join our close-knit team. Job Responsibility:

  • Lead audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through to completion
  • Prepare financial statements and ensuring compliance with GAAP
  • Identify internal control weaknesses and communicate findings to partners and clients
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships and providing exceptional service

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years in public accounting (Audit focus preferred)
  • Bachelors in Accounting or equivalent required
  • Strong familiarity with Non-Profit Organization (NPO) audits and compliance (Yellow Book experience is a major plus)
  • CPA license or active progress toward licensure
  • Proficiency in modern accounting software such as Engagement Manager (formerly Advance Flow), QuickBooks, Ultra Tax and a high level of comfort with Excel
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a small-office setting

  • Prepare, review and finalise statutory accounts and financial statements for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
