We are looking for a detail-oriented Auditing Specialist to join our team in Pasadena, California, on a Contract to permanent employment basis. This role involves supporting the Payroll Compliance Audit department by managing administrative tasks, processing audit data, preparing official correspondence, and ensuring timely audit closures. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate consistent accuracy in their work while collaborating across departments.
Job Responsibility:
Draft, edit, and distribute official correspondence, ensuring completion within one business day of request
Collect necessary data from Pension Accounting and provide it to the requesting party promptly
Update various systems, including Digital Shelves, Letters Log, and T2, following audit closures
Prepare audit submissions for review, billing, and processing with attention to detail
Calculate interest amounts upon request and log audit payments accurately
Submit audit closures and release related transmittal forms within specified timelines
Respond to Imaging requests by collecting files and coordinating with the Data Maintenance team for archiving
Record and communicate task progress through workflow tracking systems to ensure transparency
Coordinate with peers, supervisors, and department leadership to maintain smooth workflows
Manage supply orders to ensure adequate stock levels and occasionally assist with additional audit processing tasks
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools
Demonstrated ability to produce error-free work consistently
Proven experience in managing workloads effectively and meeting deadlines
Strong adaptability to shifting priorities and ability to work independently
Minimum of 3 years of experience in office, clerical, or related fields
Knowledge of Gaming Law, Legal Writing, Casino Gaming, Federal Grant, and Tax Audits
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for detail-oriented interactions
