Job Description

The Audit/Tax Manager will be responsible for preparing quarterly and annual tax provisions, creating and implementing strategic tax planning, preparing and filing accurate and timely tax returns, assisting with merger and acquisition projects, preparing regulations schedules, identifying opportunities for tax savings, staying abreast of legislative and regulatory tax laws, reviewing tax projections, preparing tax-related financial disclosures, and conducting research on complex tax issues and providing guidance to management on tax implications.

Job Responsibility

  • Timely preparing and filing of all tax returns
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks
  • Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly projections
  • Develop tax strategies
  • Assist with international tax and transfer pricing
  • Reviewing 1099 forms and reporting
  • Coordinate tax audits
  • Manage and mentor members of tax team
  • Review staff tax transactions
  • Oversee special tax related projects

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA preferred
  • 2-5+ years of public accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP/GAAS
  • Experience with tax preparation implications/software
