Job Description:

CareGivers America - NEPA, a Modivcare Personal Care Service, is looking for a Audit Support Specialist. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients by auditing care records, inclusive of client and caregiver files, in a timely and efficient manner.

Job Responsibility:

  • Implement audit strategies and plans to assess the quality of care and compliance with regulations
  • Support the response to requests from external auditors (e.g., payors or regulators) timely, including quality of care concerns, payor record requests, and re-credentialing audits
  • Conduct audits of processes, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders
  • Work with teams to identify action plans to address audit findings and support implementation of corrective actions
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, regulatory agencies, and patients or clients
  • Collaborate with other departments (Operations, HR, Program Enrollment, IT, etc.) to conduct audits
  • May support projects and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required
  • One (1) plus years of related experience and/or training
  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Highly detail oriented and organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft office packages (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations, laws, and standards, as well as industry best practices and emerging trends strongly preferred
