We are looking for an experienced Audit Staff - Public to join our team. In this role, you will perform essential auditing functions, ensuring compliance with standards while delivering high-quality results. You will manage audits independently and collaborate effectively with teams to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct audits in accordance with established standards and principles, ensuring objectives are met
Evaluate risks and materiality, applying these concepts to audit processes
Maintain attention to detail and critically assess audit evidence during engagements
Document audit programs and test work thoroughly, adhering to applicable standards
Lead the completion of audit engagements, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
Communicate findings clearly through strong written and verbal communication skills
Utilize expertise in governmental and non-profit auditing to deliver accurate results
Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and offer sound judgments
Collaborate with teams while managing multiple projects independently
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Minimum of 2 years of auditing experience with attention to detail
Strong understanding of audit objectives, risk assessment, and materiality
Proven ability to manage audits independently and meet deadlines
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience with governmental and non-profit auditing
Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Willingness to travel to audit sites as required
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office software
