This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to lead audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role involves overseeing audit processes, mentoring team members, and providing strategic insights to improve business operations.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and execute audit, review, and compliance engagements across multiple industries
Prepare detailed audit strategies and assess risk factors to ensure compliance
Review financial statements and disclosures to verify adherence to reporting standards
Coordinate and schedule audit projects to meet deadlines and client expectations
Supervise and mentor audit team members to support their development and performance
Conduct research on complex accounting issues and deliver practical solutions
Identify opportunities to enhance client services and build strong relationships
Oversee the preparation and review of work papers to ensure accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with audit partners to address technical matters and optimize engagements
Stay current with industry developments and software tools to enhance audit processes
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Master’s degree preferred
Active CPA license or CPA eligibility is strongly preferred
7–10 years of experience in audit within public accounting
Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess risks effectively
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage teams and engagements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
High ethical standards and professionalism in client interactions
