We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Manager to join our dynamic public accounting team in Troy, Michigan. This role offers the opportunity to oversee audit engagements, mentor staff, and work directly with a diverse range of clients to deliver exceptional service. Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and lead multiple audit engagements across various industries, ensuring quality and compliance with established standards
  • Supervise, train, and mentor audit team members, including staff and senior auditors, to enhance their growth and development
  • Review and finalize financial statements, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and accounting principles
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and addressing their audit needs
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within audit workflows
  • Participate in business development activities, including preparing proposals and presenting solutions to prospective clients
  • Oversee the timely and accurate completion of audit workpapers and deliverables
  • Utilize audit software and data analytics tools to streamline audit processes and achieve insightful results
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley testing and IT General Controls (ITGC) requirements
  • Collaborate with leadership to align audit practices with firm-wide strategic goals

Requirements:

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Extensive knowledge of audit standards, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong skills in Sarbanes-Oxley testing and IT General Controls (ITGC)
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and deliver high-quality results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
  • Proficiency in audit software and data analytics tools preferred
