Job Responsibility:

  • Managing a portfolio of audit clients
  • Overseeing the full audit process from planning to completion
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing the audit team
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality services
  • Building and nurturing strong client relationships
  • Acting as a trusted advisor on audit and financial reporting matters
  • Providing technical guidance and support to both clients and the audit team
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant standards
  • Reviewing audit files
  • Offering feedback
  • Ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as tax and advisory
  • Offering comprehensive services to clients
  • Contributing to business development
  • Identifying growth opportunities within the audit function

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Minimum of five years’ audit experience in UK practice
  • Proven experience managing audit assignments from start to finish
  • Strong technical knowledge of audit standards and financial reporting
  • Experience in leading and mentoring audit teams
  • Focus on delivering excellent client service
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Ability to provide expert audit and financial reporting advice
  • A proactive and organised approach
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Commercially minded
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities within the audit function
