Job Description:

The Audit Manager role is responsible for performing moderately complex audits and assessments of Citi’s risk and control environments in coordination with the Audit team. The role includes leveraging expertise to manage a team of auditors, advising the business on initiatives, recommending interventions to issues, and applying understanding of Internal Audit standards, policies, and regulations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, execute and deliver audit reports in a timely manner
  • Review and approve the Business Monitoring Quarterly summary
  • Collaborate with teams across the business and determine impact on overall control environment and audit approach
  • Manage audit activities for a component of a product line, function, or legal entity at regional or country level
  • Leverage a comprehensive expertise to manage a team of auditors
  • Advise the business on change initiatives
  • Recommend interventions to issues
  • Propose solutions for risk and control problems
  • Partner with Directors and Managing Directors to develop approaches for broader corporate issues
  • Apply understanding of Internal Audit standards, policies and regulations to specific product/function areas

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of relevant experience
  • Related certifications [CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar] preferred
  • Effective comprehension of business side of audit function and subject matter expertise regarding technology application
  • Effective verbal, written and negotiation skills
  • Effective project management skills
  • Effective influencing and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment
  • Well familiar with emerging risks around AI/ML and Data applications
  • Knowledge of Data Analytics tools such as Python, SAS, SQL, Teradata, Oracle, Hive and Tableau preferred

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Data Analytics tools such as Python, SAS, SQL, Teradata, Oracle, Hive and Tableau
  • Familiarity with emerging risks around AI/ML
