Job Description:

This hybrid role combines the strategic oversight and risk assurance of an Audit Lead with the commercial and performance-driving responsibilities of a Finance Business Partner. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in safeguarding Unilever’s governance and financial integrity while enabling superior business performance through strategic financial partnership. You will lead high-impact audits across diverse business functions, while also partnering at a country-level to drive financial planning, analysis, and decision support.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and deliver high-quality audits across business units and functions, evaluating control design and operational effectiveness
  • Own audit planning, including risk assessments, scope definition, and stakeholder engagement
  • Lead cross-functional audit teams in 5-week sprints, ensuring timely execution and impactful reporting
  • Act as a peer challenger to enhance audit quality and insight
  • Engage with senior leaders and external partners to share key findings and emerging risks
  • Drive strategic initiatives to keep Corporate Audit aligned with industry best practices and digital innovation
  • Contribute to the Finance Knowledge Network by identifying good practices, capability building, and benchmarking
  • Lead and support on projects related to country-level financial performance and strategic planning
  • Drive annual business planning and financial framework alignment with leadership
  • Monitor in-year performance, provide actionable insights, and challenge decisions to ensure sustainable growth
  • Develop business cases for new products, investments, and restructuring initiatives
  • Prepare and submit timely financial reports for global and regional stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • CPA, CMA, or CIA certification preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of diverse finance experience, including regional/global exposure and senior leadership
  • Proven track record in audit, financial planning & analysis, and business partnering
  • Strong understanding of risk management, governance, and financial modeling
  • Experience in FMCG or similar fast-paced industries is a plus
