Launch Your Audit Career with Withum – November 2026 Class. Withum is seeking accounting majors graduating in the upcoming academic year to join our Audit team as part of the November 2026 class. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced audit professionals and gain hands-on experience in financial statement audits, internal control evaluations, and client engagements across a broad range of industries.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze and review client accounting records and financial statements
  • Evaluate internal control systems, audit risk, materiality, and compliance with GAAS through inquiry, observation, and review
  • Prepare detailed workpapers to support audit procedures
  • Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures on financial data
  • Contribute to larger audit engagements and take ownership of smaller ones as your skills grow
  • Communicate with clients to gather information and clarify audit issues
  • Use audit software and data analytics tools to enhance audit quality and efficiency
  • Take on miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills
  • Team-oriented with a desire to learn and grow
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work in one of our office locations

Nice to have:

  • 150 credit hours
  • Prior internship experience with a public accounting firm
  • Experience with audit software
