Job Description:

Crowe Watson Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly respected firm of Chartered Accountants in Wolverhampton who are seeking an experienced Audit Director to join their leadership team. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a forward-thinking firm offering flexible working, a strong company pension, and much more. The successful candidate will play a key role in the firm’s continued growth, overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients and driving strategic initiatives across the audit department.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage a portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors
Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing audit team
Review and sign off on audit files ensuring technical compliance and quality
Work closely with Partners on business development and strategy
Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing advice and support

Requirements:

ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
Significant experience in audit, ideally at Senior Manager or Director level
Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and auditing standards
Proven leadership and team management experience
Must have a minimum of 5 years previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
