Job Description:

Utilizing your analytical and interpretive skills on our Operations team, you will work to identify current and future risks to our dynamic environment as well as establish the policies and controls to reduce and/or mitigate them. Your role will involve extensive interaction with colleagues throughout the firm.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze business processes and work flows, noting areas where processes and controls can be improved or implemented to reduce/mitigate risk
  • Tests effectiveness of controls
  • Gain exposure to the markets and other areas of the business
  • Ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and Access
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external vendors
  • Detail oriented
  • ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Must be a self-starter, a quick learner, and resourceful in solving problems
  • Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience with VBA and SQL a plus
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry or completion of finance- or investment-related coursework a plus
  • Probability and Statistics background a plus
