Requirements

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior financial managerial role
Proficiency in accounting software systems is mandatory
Expertise in the use of business systems is necessary
Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is needed
Must have a strong grasp of all accounting functions
Demonstrable experience in auditing is essential
Must have a thorough understanding of budget processes
Proficiency in capital management is expected
Capable of performing cash flow analysis and taking appropriate actions
Experience in fund accounting for non-profit organizations is required

Job Responsibility

Overseeing all financial accounting and reporting
Supervising purchasing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting functions of the finance department
Directing the recruitment, supervision, training, and evaluation of the Finance Department staff
Managing relationships with federal and state tax authorities and government regulators
Participating in and providing input into management decisions
Developing, recommending and implementing accounting and operational policies, procedures and processes
Ensuring all insurance coverages are in place each year
Maintaining fiscal management of all private, city, state, and federal grants
Developing, supervising, and coordinating efforts to attain maximum third-party reimbursement
Ensuring preparation of all regulatory reports
