Job Responsibility:

  • Managing a portfolio of audit clients, overseeing the audit process from planning through to completion
  • Leading audit assignments, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards and within deadlines
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for audit clients
  • Providing technical audit advice and guidance to clients, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards
  • Mentoring and supervising junior members of the team, reviewing their work and providing development support
  • Collaborating with other departments, including tax and advisory services, to offer a well-rounded service to clients

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Minimum of three years’ audit experience in UK practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of audit standards and financial reporting requirements
  • Proven experience managing audit assignments and client relationships
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior staff members
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive approach
  • Confidence to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
